"The Two Frogs"
Once upon a time, a group of frogs was traveling through the woods.
Suddenly, two of them fell into a deep hole.
When the other frogs saw how deep the hole was, they told the two frogs that there was no hope.
However, the two frogs decided to ignore what the others were saying and tried to jump out of the hole.
Despite their efforts, the group of frogs at the top of the hole was still saying that theyshould just give up. It was impossible to jump out of the hole.
One of the frogs listened to what the others were saying and he gave up. The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Again, and again, and again.
But the other frogs at the top of the hole still told him to stop the pain and just give up.
But instead, he jumped even harder and finally succeed.
When he got out, the other frogs said: “Did you not hear us?”
Then the frog explained:"I am deaf. I thought you were encouraging me the entire time".
Moral of the story:
Words have power! What are you saying to people? What are you listening from them?People’s words can have a big effect on other’s lives.

Difficult words:
Despite (without taking any notice of or being influenced by)
Ex: I still enjoyed the week despite the weather.
Give up (to stop trying )
Ex: After ten minutes trying to get the answer I gave up.
Got out (to leave a closed place)
Ex: Hold the door open so that I can get out.
Deaf (unable to hear, either completely or partly)
Ex: He's been totally deaf since birth.

Título da história: Os dois sapos
Era uma vez, um grupo de sapos estava viajando pela floresta.
De repente, dois deles caíram em um buraco fundo.
Quando as outras rãs viram a profundidade do buraco, disseram às duas que não havia esperança. No entanto, as duas rãs decidiram ignorar o que as outras estavam dizendo e tentaram pular para fora do buraco.
Apesar de seus esforços, o grupo de sapos no topo do buraco ainda dizia que eles deveriam desistir. Era impossível pular do buraco.
Uma das rãs ouviu o que as outras diziam e desistiu. O outro sapo continuou a pular o mais forte que podia. De novo e de novo e de novo.

As palavras têm poder! O que você está dizendo para as pessoas? O que você está ouvindo deles? As palavras das pessoas podem ter um grande efeito na vida de outros.
